Lottery Telling People to Gamble

October 31st, 2009 by admin

Throughout the earth gambling is very much frowned upon, if you gamble online or visit the local gambling casino then people look at you in a funny way like you have done something awry.

But then you see these same people visiting the shop and purchasing scratch cards or purchasing a lottery ticket and zilch is said. The lottery in my opinion is the worst out and out gamble that you can potentially take. You have a million in one chance of actually winning the lottery, whereas other games such as online poker take skill to master.

Its astonishing that only lately the lottery has been criticized by the watchdog for supporting unreasonable gambling. The lottery are said to have sent out an electronic mail to all of their account users which fundamentally says “The more you play the more probable you are to win.” It also added: “Give yourself even more of a chance by playing multiple lines at once and playing for the Saturday and Wednesday draws.”

But what I do not understand is what is so different with this and the way that they usually promote all over the internet and TV? A good example of this is when we have a Euromillions roll over. You are constantly seeing adverts that show you the jackpot and try to convince you to buy a ticket.

Personally I do not believe that there is anything wrong with this all, human beings are not robots and whatever they see they do not just go and purchase. People have their own minds and if they are going to be influenced and believe that the more you play the more you will win, then that is up to them.

For great online poker and games of party poker and PKR poker win a huge jack pot
