The world is slowly coming to terms with the sad news today that Michael Jackson has died at the age of 50.  But there have already been numerous claims that his death has been faked.

It has even been suggested that the popular start has staged his own death in order to hang on to the funds raised from his forthcoming 50 gig tour. It has been suggested that he could then assume a new identity, which he has been trying to achieve using plastic surgery, and head off somewhere to live with Elvis, Lord Lucan and Shergar.

Sources at Los Angeles International airport have described seeing a VIP resembling Michael Jackson boarding a private jet only hours after he was pronounced dead.

Conspiracty theories abound on the internet since the shocking announcement of Jackson’s death. In one claim it has been suggested that Michael Jackson was killed by an experimental bio-weapon. Others have claimed that he has been purposely killed by various groups including business men to whom Jackson is alleged to owe money.

Jackson’s forthcoming British shows, which were to be his first solo performances for 12 years, had already raised over £50 million in ticket sales. Jackson was busily involved in rehearsals in Los Angeles for his imminent British appearances which were expected to be his last performances.

The conspiracy theorists have bee on overdrive since Michael Jacksons death was reported and many are suggesting that the news has been made up as a publicity stunt. Some people have recounted the story of Lord Lucan who vanished in 1974 after the nanny of his children was found dead. Apparently Lord Lucan was spotted living in an old car in New Zealand. A former Scotland yard detective has recently been conducting an investigation into the sighting which is just the latest in dozens of reports received since his disappearance.

There are many Michael Jackson lookalikes around the globe so there will inevitably be a number of Michael Jackson sightings from various places.
