The Beatles Stereo Box Set

Every album The Beatles recorded from 1962 through ‘70 in fully remastered glory! These 16 CDs sound awesome and yes they are a big upgrade from the old discs. They are absolutely worth buying. Any Beatles fan would love to get this box set as a present.

Ringo’s drums & Paul’s bass sound particularly better on these new CDs. While these elements (and many others) were often “buried in the mix” on the old CDs now everything can be heard clearly.

Besides the awesome sound, there’s also the awesome packaging and the fact that it comes with a documentary DVD that is not available for individual purchase.

The Beatles Mono Box Set

The original mono mixes of The Beatles first 10 albums are finally on CD with this mono CD box set. This set is perfect for the really serious Beatles fan because it’s the Beatles albums as they were originally intended to be heard.

Many fans will be curious to hear these original mixes because in some cases they are a lot different from the stereo mixes. For example “She’s Leaving Home” is sped up in mono which gives it a much different sound.

The Beatles Rock Band Game

This is a great present for any Beatles lover who is also into video games. But I would say that someone doesn’t have to be a gamer to like this particular video game. It’s really great for any Beatles fan. I think even those who think that they don’t like video games will find that they love playing Beatles Rock Band. It’s a lot of fun.

The most fantastic part of this game for me is the singing part. It’s really a barrel of monkeys to sing these Beatles songs and what’s really great about it is you can even sing the harmonies..

It’s also a great group activity because up to three players can sing at one time (if you have three microphones) and really for this aspect of the game you don’t even need any of the rock band instruments, just three cheap USB microphones (they are about each.)
