It is possible for anyone to learn clairvoyance to a certain degree. We will clarify the meaning of clairvoyance as well as the ability to develop clairvoyance.
Some may be confused because clairvoyance often comes with several different meanings. Most people will define clairvoyance under the umbrella of a number of common paranormal skills such as remote viewing, precognition, or psychic visions. These are all abilities that share commonalities with clairvoyance but clairvoyance can be more aptly described in simpler terms. Namely, it is the ability to learn information about a particular person, place, or entity without using the established five senses. Instead, a sixth sense takes over and delivers the acquired insight.
Some individuals with extraordinary clairvoyant abilities can see, smell, hear, feel and even taste things that are at a distance. They just know these things about the future that they have no other means of knowing. Science can provide no documentation or explanations of these abilities. No one is sure how it works. These psychic abilities have various metaphysical explanations. However, there is no concrete belief and many explanations contradict themselves. Nevertheless, there is one common element that crosses through all these theories and that is that clairvoyants are just born that way.
Is it possible to learn to see things that are happening elsewhere or to see the future? Probably not. Can you develop and train your sixth sense? Most definitely yes.
This is because all people possess a sixth sense to a certain degree. This can be visible as the manifestation of a hunch or feeling that is overpowering. Anyone that has ever felt distrust or a bad feeling about someone could be dealing with a sixth sense. But, people will often dismiss their sixth sense and center on emotion as opposed to an important gut instinct.
Even the realm of science will acknowledge the value of hunches and instincts. Many scientists will claim there is nothing supernatural or paranormal about these abilities. Many in the mental health field will claim such powers are merely the subconscious mind developing keener insights into what the conscious mind may have been too previously busy to notice. The subconscious may translate this info into feelings that were previously mentioned. As such, it is important to help and trust the subconscious mind.
Whether you believe that clairvoyance is based on brain neurochemistry or innate psychci ability is not something that matters all that much. All you need to accept is that it exists and that everyone has at least a little bit of it. Now all you need to do is to worry about training it up.
Step 1: Look Around
People will often go through life in such a way that they are overly focused on the task at hand and do not pay attention to the things occurring around us. That is unfortunate because it is these things that allow our mind to pick up on hunches and other factors. In order to increase perception, it becomes necessary to pay attention to the world you exist in. You need to pay clear attention to detail.
Don’t expect this to happen overnight though; you might be breaking the habit of a lifetime. Remember that you should start by slowing down a little bit and moving through your day in a more leisurely fashion. Second consider what distractions are a part of your day and remove them. This means that you should do things like turn off the radio when you are driving. When you don’t have anything distracting you, you’ll find that you are going to be more on target when it comes to looking at the things that are happening around you. This can be essential.
It also would be helpful to engage in mini-meditation sessions that involve closing your eyes and inhaling deeply. This will force you to relax and when you open your eyes again you will be more aware of your surroundings. This only takes a few seconds but it can deliver enormous results.
2. Meditate
Consider making time every day to meditate for at least half an hour. Good meditation goes a long way towards clearing your conscious mind and letting the things underneath rise to the surface. You can communicate with yourself in a much better fashion and you’ll be more relaxed and more refreshed in the long run.
When you are thinking about meditation, though, you’ll discover that it is a lot easier said than done. You might find that you sit down and suddenly there are a number of things that are all calling for our attention. You might feel as though you are being silly or that you are doing it wrong. Remember that there are tools that can guide you, so take some time and focus and find a mantra.
Remember that when you want to meditate, your senses can distract you. Every sound that you hear or emotion that you might be experiencing can distract you. What can you focus on? Lots of people start with a candle flame. There is not a lot to see and the flicker of the candle flame gives you something to focus on while staying relatively still. This might be precisely what you need.
It is also not necessary to shut down the thoughts in our conscious mind. Instead, we can occupy our thoughts with a mantra. A mantra can be a phrase, saying, or song that we concentrate on. As long as it is something you know by heart, you can use the saying as a mantra. Some people pray the rosary as they meditate? The endless string of memorized Hail Marys occupies their conscious mind perfectly.
3. Trust Your Instincts
In order to develop your clairvoyance you must trust your instincts. Never dismiss your feelings or try to second-guess yourself, while telling yourself that they hold no logical sense. Your instincts are important, since this is your subconscious mind showing you something that your conscious mind has dismissed.
It can be challenging; however, as you learn to trust and listen to your gut feelings you will gain confidence in your clairvoyant tendencies. This will strengthen your sixth sense of clairvoyance and you will begin to trust and follow it.
